Beijing - Paris

76 competitors from 26 different countries will drive approximately 14,000 kilometers in cars that are more than half a century old in 37 days. The modern edition of the Beijing - Paris retains the essence of the original challenge born in 1907, the competitors will be able to equip themselves with modern technologies to improve safety and communication which certainly do not alter the epic nature of the undertaking.

The passage of the Beijing – Paris to San Marino is scheduled for June 20th and will be the 34th day of the competition. The cars will be displayed at car park 7 San Marino Città where it will be possible to admire and photograph them. Parade in the historic center with arrival in Piazza della Libertà. For the occasion, the philatelic office has minted a stamp to be released on June 15th and presented by the Director General of the San Marino Post Office Gian Luca Amici.

The passage on the Titan of these aristocrats was possible thanks to the synergy between the Tourism and Sport Secretariats, the San Marino Automobile Club and the interaction between the San Marino Cesare Tabarrini and Tomas de Vargas Machuca, patron of the Hero-Hera company which organizes the 'event.
