The exhibition
"We ask for asylum and some bread. Garibaldi in San Marino"
it is proposed as "reflection on a moment of serious crisis such as that which occurred in San Marino on July 31, 1849 and which today can help us reflect on the strength of San Marino identity and find answers to our complicated present in the past".
Open for free to the public , in the spaces of the Pinacoteca San Francesco Museum ,
the exhibition "has been enriched with an important section ,
that relating to the celebrations that the Republic paid to Giuseppe and Anita Garibaldi in the various anniversaries,
also and above all through prestigious philatelic issues ".
The rooms are clean, attractive and offer all you need. We found them a very good value. The staff is quite nice. The location is excellent--we parked right across the street. From the hotel you have views across the valleys below and up to the towers. And who ever likes a hotel restaurant--well, you will! We lunched here and were so pleasantly surprised by the excellent food, lovely service, and a beautiful view to match.
