Fasten the belts .... and dive into the wonderful world of magic
The Festival designed, conceived and organized by Gabriel (at the time Gabriele Merli).
Born to raise funds for AT 21 (association that deals with issues related to Down syndrome founded in 1998). It is held under the patronage of the Secretary of State for Tourism of the Republic of San Marino .
The three-day mini Kermesse is divided as follows:
First day openings of magic fairs and conferences, held by valid and experienced magicians, from early morning to late afternoon.
Second day with conferences and magic houses.
The evening is dedicated to the heart of the Festival: Il Gala.
On the third day the conferences continue.
My only regret is not being able to give a rating of 6 instead of "only" 5... The Hotel Cesare has answer back, if not exceeded, all my expectations. First of all, the beauty and convenience of the location, being situated in one of the most scenic street of the old town, but with the great comfort of a car park close to the property. The hotel is a structure built in the typical local architecture, which itself already makes it very picturesque; recently renovated and equipped with every comfort. But the real strength of this firm is the family that runs it, who knew how to make a luxury hotel while maintaining the most genuine hospitality typical of San Marino. Their helpfulness and courtesy , as of all the staff, was among the best I've ever tried, and has been the source of a unique experience! Special thanks to Mrs. Elisa and to her Mother for everything! The structure is a beautiful 4 -star deluxe hotel, located at the beginning of one of the main streets of the city, surrounded by nice shops and museums , a few steps from the main monuments . The rooms , I have seen two of them, are so cozy and equipped with the best international standards, although some might be a bit ' small, but we must consider that we are in a historic building in the center of an ancient city. In any case, the real marvel is the Dreaming Room on the top floor... 180° view over the hills and the countryside, it seems to be on a plane! From Montefeltro's Mountains up to the coast of Rimini, San Marino with it’s lights turning on at dusk, a dream is just an understatement ... It’s a memory for life! Decorated with attention to every detail, from the bed strewn with rose petals to the wonderful whirlpool tub ... A true balm for the nerves for an escape from everyday stress, with a V.I.P. treatment. The continental breakfast offers everything you may ask in a similar hotel, especially the delicious hand baked cakes. It deserves a chapter for the restaurant, real flag of the local cuisine , elegant and refined , we particularly enjoyed the calm and relaxing atmosphere , and of course the dishes ... Tagliatelle al ragù: very good ! Especially the cute barbeque corner to view and good wine list. I enjoyed a local wine, Tessano . San Marino, the oldest republic in the world, a UNESCO world heritage site, really worth a visit, it’s a jewel beyond the Italian borders and from the usual routes: the Hotel Cesare is where you need to go to sleep, I’m almost sure you’ll hardly find any accommodations at the same level in the area. In a word, Awesome!
