The national holiday of March 25 reminds the Arengo of 1906 that marked the end of the oligarchic period and the birth of a parliament directly elected by the citizens.
This event was associated with the Military Corps Party.
The Ecc.mi Capitani Reggenti deliver the medals of loyalty and seniority to the Military who have served the Republic with honor and dedication.
The Ceremony begins at 9.00 am in Piazza della Libertà, continues in front of the Ara dei Volontari, in the Basilica del Santo, to end in Piazza della Libertà with the intervention of the Military and Government authorities and the flag ammaina.
