The theme of the exhibition is man
and his face
- natural reflection of the paternal or maternal image, expression of the self,
par excellence, thanks to the exhibition of fifty works of art from various
collections.
And also late-antiquity silverware, early-Christian and
medieval mosaics, together with masterpieces by Reni and Guercino, which
document the renewal of life, and therefore of the face, through the centuries,
in the friendship of Christ.
The Holy face: art and mystery par excellence. On the track
of the “Holy Face”, from the Archetype of the Lateran Sancta Sanctorum to the
Vatican Veronica, from the extraordinary Christ Blessing of the 12th-cent.
Roman school, to the works of George Rouault, Gino Severini and Pericle
Fazzini.

A charmer of a hotel in a charmer of a town/country. It is hard to separate the hotel from the tiny town itself. The whole place oozes with history and romance. There is a parking lot just outside the hotel/town walls that could not be more convenient. Clean, comfortable rooms with a nice view complete the experience.
