Anime Prave 2026
The Dante Month returns to San Marino
Even in 2026, the Republic of San Marino renews one of its most significant cultural events: the 'Dante Month', a review promoted by the Sammarinese Association Dante Alighieri and now in its XIX edition.
The review offers a path between April and May dedicated to the works of Dante Alighieri, with particular attention to the eighth Franciscan centenary and the relationship between Dante and Saint Francis of Assisi.
The program includes meetings, concerts, and in-depth discussions, from the inaugural musical path at the Teatro Titano to the events hosted in the Batoni Hall of the State Museum of San Marino.
The central figure of this edition will be Giuseppe Fanfani, author of the exhibition 'Anime prave', dedicated to Dante's Inferno and set up from May 21 to July 7 at the State Museum, as well as the speaker at the concluding meeting of the cycle.
To complete the journey, on May 27, Fanfani will hold the conference 'I was of Montefeltro, I am Bonconte', dedicated to the theme of repentance and forgiveness in the V canto of Purgatory.
The initiative is carried out in collaboration with the Sammarinese Musical Institute and the Higher School of San Marino, with the patronage of the State Secretariat for Culture, the Embassy of Italy in San Marino, and the Sammarinese National Commission for Unesco.
