Twenty one years after Andrea Noè's victory, one stage of the Giro d'Italia will return to the Titan.
The 2019 Corsa Rosa begins to take shape and the ninth fraction, an individual time trial of 34 kilometers, will take place on Sunday 19 May, departing from Riccione and arriving in San Marino. Corrugated course for the first 22 kilometers and then after entering the territory of San Marino from the border of Faetano , so much climb up to the finish line. The most challenging part will undoubtedly be the ascent towards the castle of Montegiardino , with slopes that in some places exceed 10%. San Marino therefore, will be home to the Giro d'Italia stage for the thirteenth time in history.

The first ever in 1951, with the success of Giancarlo Astrua. Felice Gimond won the victory on the pink shirt Eddy Merckx in 1968. In '79, stage and jersey for Giuseppe Saronni , who will maintain the leadership until the end of the Giro and then another Italian success in 1987, stage and pink jersey for Roberto Visentini against teammate Stephen Roche.
